Park stage shines for Unity Week

Large crowds have gathered at a park in the Iranian capital to mark the Islamic Unity Week.

The event held at Ab-o-Atash Park featured an open‑air evening stage program to mark the special occasion. 

Islamic Unity Week is observed annually between the dates regarded by Sunni and Shia Muslims as the Prophet Muhammad’s birthday.

The birth anniversaries of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and Imam Ja’far al‑Sadiq (AS), the sixth Shia Imam, fall on September 10 this year in Iran.
